Allergies
Ear acupuncture has been widely used in China to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis. You can also stimulate those points through the use of Dot.On ear beads, to help you gain back focus without the constant sneezing, coughing, watery eyes and a runny nose that disrupt daily life.
Dots Application:
For best results use one protocol at a time to give the body a clear message.
Ideally use on one ear and when removing the beads after 5 to 7 days apply to the other ear. This ensures that the ear beads do not cause irritation to the skin (which can happen with continuous use over a given point).
Press the beads for 30 to 60 seconds several times a day to stimulate the point.
What the points do:
Shen Men: considered a Master Point, it is used with many other ear points for a variety of reasons including anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, pain, addiction and detoxification. Some acupuncture practitioners describe Shen Men as one of the most calming and relaxing ear point and use it with all ear point treatments!
Adrenals (a.k.a. ACTH point): useful for conditions linked to allergic disorders (bronchial asthma, hayfever, allergic skin diseases)
Thymus: indicated for disturbances of the immune system such as allegic rhinitis, hay fever) but also chronic predisposition to infections.
Interferon: supportive in cases of allergies or chronic infections
Allergy: this point is useful for symptoms of allergies.
Eye: the use of eye point is not necessary if you do not suffer any symptom such as irritated, itchy or watery eyes.
